I wanted to help out at the Toledo Wooden Boat Festival this year, so I volunteered to build a complete Puddle Duck Racer at the show and donate it to them so they could use it however they saw fit.
I knew time and tools would be limited, so I pre-fabbed all the parts before leaving the house. Believe me, it is much harder to make a complete kit than it is to just build as you go along. It takes a ton of planning.
These are all the parts, from rudder to sail, laid out in my garage.
